Plan layout of stockrooms and warehouse areas based on item turnover, size, and weight to maximize space and efficiency.

Supervises the receiving, proper storage, and timely issuance of supplies, tools, equipment, and materials.

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions; identify and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.

Monitors inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stock shortages; suggests measures for items that are slow-moving, obsolete, or unusable.

Conduct routine inspections of storage areas, receiving docks, and service points to ensure proper inventory control, secure handling of goods, and adherence to company policies.

Investigate and report any suspicious activities or identified pilferage gaps immediately, following established internal procedures and collaborating with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.

Supervises daily activities of Storekeepers; assigns duties and monitors work for

compliance with company standards.

Coaches and evaluates staff performance, provides training, and manages disciplinary actions when necessary.

Promotes teamwork, maintains harmony among staff, and resolves workplace concerns or grievances.

Ensures adherence to Sodexo and Sodexo at Google HSE regulations and site-specific protocols related to storage, sanitation, and safety.

Standardizes processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness in

warehousing operations.

Conducts periodic and special inventories as required by internal audits or client requests.

Reviews purchase orders (POs), packing slips, and sales invoices for completeness and accuracy.

Updates cost tracking systems and maintains a daily consumption journal using Stock Transfer Forms (STFs).

Coordinates with Procurement Supervisors and vendors for timely deliveries and invoice reconciliation.

Prepares accurate and timely reports for internal tracking to the Finance Department.

Requirements:

• Preferred Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related courses.
• At least 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or construction environment.
• Training in Inventory Management, Procurement, or Supply Chain Systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with local procurement processes, including handling of Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders (POs), and Stock Transfer Forms (STFs).
• Working knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or local ERP systems).
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with suppliers, procurement, and finance teams.
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
