Job Scope:

The Project Manager (Health) is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of major health programmes (e.g. MHIT Base Plan, Health propositions, D2C / agent‑assisted journeys), ensuring execution is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned to regulatory, business, and customer outcomes. The role requires strong cross‑functional coordination across Health, Actuarial, IT, Claims, Marketing, Distribution, Finance, and external stakeholders.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Program & Project Delivery

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of assigned Health programmes (e.g. MHIT Base Plan rollout, Health propositions, digital journeys).
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, inter‑dependencies, risks, and issues across workstreams.
• Track delivery progress, ensure timely resolution of blockers, and escalate risks where required.
• Ensure deliverables transition smoothly into BAU operations upon completion.

2. Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as primary point of coordination across business, IT, operations, actuarial, legal, compliance, and external partners.
• Support program governance including Steering Committee updates, ExCo materials, and regulatory‑related submissions where required.
• Prepare clear, concise program updates and decision papers for senior management.

3. Financial & Resource Management

• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and cost tracking across the program lifecycle.
• Support benefits tracking (financial and non‑financial) against agreed business cases.
• Identify resource constraints and support capacity planning discussions with management.

4. Change & Implementation Support

• Coordinate change impacts across propositions, operations, systems, and customer/agent communications.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Ops teams to support readiness activities (training, process changes, comms).
• Ensure regulatory, risk, and compliance considerations are embedded in program execution.

Key Deliverables

• Approved program plan, timelines, and governance structure.
• Regular management dashboards and progress reports.
• Steering Committee and ExCo update decks.
• Risk & dependency logs with mitigation actions.
• Successful go‑live and handover to operations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Health, Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in project / program management, preferably within insurance, health, banking, or digital transformation.
• Experience managing cross‑functional business and IT programs is essential.
• Exposure to health insurance, medical propositions, regulatory‑driven programmes, or large‑scale transformation initiatives is highly advantageous.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• project /program management: 5 years (Required)
• health program/ insurance project: 3 years (Required)
• ExCo : 5 years (Preferred)
