Job Description

• Understand engineering design and operational aspects of all building systems
• Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise MEP provisioning programs in critical facilities
• Lead development and provisioning projects, overseeing consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Prepare RFPs, evaluate submissions, and recommend vendor selections
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers on customised data centre projects
• Develop work programs, budgets, and schedules for project delivery
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet required standards
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
• Prepare monthly project reports covering budgets, timelines, and scope
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for cost-effective delivery
• Oversee development and maintenance of as-built drawings
• Lead capacity planning for space, power, and cooling requirements
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with certification standards and support audit requirements
• Support additional projects or duties assigned by management
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in critical facilities development, operations, or project management in a 24x7 data centre environment
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems such as switchgears, UPS, generators, and CRAUs
• Proficient in CAD systems and Revit 2018
• Good understanding of Malaysia building codes and regulatory standards
• Familiar with certifications such as LEED, ISO (20000/22301/27001/14001), Uptime Tier, TIA-942, and related frameworks
• Relevant data centre certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDCMP, DCS) preferred
• Willing to work staggered or extended hours when required
• Strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Skilled in MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
