Job Title: Warehouse Cleaner / General Worker

Department: Operations / Maintenance

Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a clean environment for operational efficiency and employee safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and scrub warehouse floors, aisles, and docking bays.

• Remove and properly dispose of dust, debris, cardboard, and shrink-wrap plastic from work areas.

• Collect and compact used cartons and packaging materials; ensure recycling protocols are followed.

• Clean and sanitize breakrooms, restrooms, and coldroom areas.

• Monitor and address pest control issues by maintaining bait stations and reporting sightings to management.

• Respond immediately to spills, specifically oil and grease spills, using absorbent materials and proper disposal methods.

• Empty trash receptacles and ensure waste is disposed of according to safety regulations.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies; report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred, but not required.

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, industrial vacuums).

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse setting with varying temperatures.

• Exposure to dust, odors, and cleaning chemicals; PPE will be provided.

• Must be comfortable working near heavy machinery and moving vehicles.
