Role Description The Specialist CNC Milling Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The role involves creating, optimizing, and updating CNC milling programs to meet production requirements and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting tools and machining parameters, setting up and trial-running programs, and troubleshooting machining issues. The specialist will collaborate with machinists and production team members to improve cycle times, maintain dimensional accuracy, and reduce scrap. The role also includes maintaining documentation for programs, supporting preventive maintenance planning related to machining processes, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing interpretation and the ability to read engineering blueprints.
• Candidates should possess advanced CNC Programming and Programming skills for CNC milling machines.
• Candidates should possess practical Machining and Milling skills, including tool selection and process setup.
• Relevant experience in precision engineering, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with CAM software and CNC controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality are required.
• Ability to work on-site in Bayan Lepas, collaborate effectively with team members, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• A technical certificate, diploma, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
