Regional Category Manager - Full time

Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor

Industry: Electronics Manufacturing

Budget: RM 12,000 - RM 15,000

Working Hours: Mon – Fri (fully onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional electronics category management processes aligned with global strategy
• Embed strategic sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) excellence across APAC manufacturing plants
• Partner with Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, and IBP leaders on long-term category strategies
• Award business based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Drive lead-time reduction and speed-to-market improvements
• Lead supplier segmentation, panel management, and SRM deployment
• Execute Low-Cost Country sourcing initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in direct material sourcing (electronics manufacturing or technically complex products)
• Exposure to electronics components, assemblies, or equipment categories
• Proven experience in a regional APAC sourcing or category management role
• Track record working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
• APICS and/or MCIPS certification is a plus
• Fluent in English with strong APAC cultural awareness
