Position Overview: We are seeking a Junior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support the implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, network security, and DevOps environments. The role will assist senior engineers in deploying and maintaining Azure resources, configuring secure network connectivity, supporting basic automation and CI/CD activities, and helping ensure cloud services are reliable, secure, and properly monitored. This position is suitable for an early-career technical professional with foundational hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, networking, security concepts, and DevOps tools who is eager to learn and grow in enterprise cloud project delivery. 

Key Responsibilities: 

· Azure Infrastructure Support: Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, resource groups, backup services, monitoring components, and basic governance settings under guidance from senior engineers. 

· Network Security Configuration: Support the configuration and troubleshooting of Azure networking and security components, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, route tables, firewalls, private connectivity, VPN, DNS, and access control based on project requirements. 

· DevOps Tooling Support: Assist with Azure DevOps or GitHub activities such as repository management, basic CI/CD pipeline setup, build and deployment troubleshooting, release support, and simple automation scripts for cloud infrastructure tasks. 

· Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor Azure infrastructure health, review alerts and logs, support incident investigation, perform basic root cause analysis, and escalate complex issues to senior team members when required. 

· Documentation & Project Support: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, deployment notes, test results, and operational handover materials to support project delivery and ongoing operations. 

· Security & Compliance Awareness: Follow cloud security, access control, change management, and operational procedures to help maintain a secure and compliant Azure environment. 

· Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and DevOps practices, and actively develop technical skills through hands-on project work and self-learning. 

Qualifications: 

· Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

· 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud support, network support, system administration, or DevOps-related work. 

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, backup, monitoring, and identity integration. 

· Understanding of network security concepts such as firewalls, network segmentation, VPN, routing, DNS, access control, and security best practices. 

· Basic experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tasks, and simple automation scripts. 

· Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, or related certification is an advantage. 

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
