Responsibilities
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
- Sound knowledge in cloud computing and have at least Two-year working experience in server virtualisation environment, Windows Server, RedHat Linux, Storage Area Network (SAN), Traffic Sharper, Network Firewall and Load Balancer
- To liaise and coordinate with relevant parties on all activities related to system maintenance and enhancements on VALID, such as user requirement collection, system integration test, user acceptance test, load test, pre-production health check, etc.
- To perform quality review on the deliverables submitted by contractors
- Strong clear understanding of Government Standards and Guidelines such as Baseline IT Security Policy (S17) and IT Security Guidelines (G3)
- Knowledge in enterprise grade backup solution, DR solution, and Network solution are definite advantage
- To assist in rectifying and resolving system and database problems when system incidents occurred
- To perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 years x Infrastructure, IT Security, Networking, Server Virtualisation Technology and Work experience with/in the Government
- 1 year x Oracle RDBMS, Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services, IT Audit, Experience in Managing Government Projects, IT Service/ Outsourcing Management and Vendor Management
