Software Engineer (Site Reliability Engineering)

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

Location: Bras Basah Road, Singapore

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Site Reliability Engineering) to support enterprise IT operations through automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and service availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions.

• Monitor system, application, and infrastructure health proactively.

• Enhance and integrate monitoring solutions to improve operational processes.

• Analyze operational data and develop dashboards and reports.

• Automate day-to-day operational activities using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Shell, PowerShell, or Python.

• Provide support for reliability engineering initiatives and service requests.

• Support production incidents and project cutover activities, including after-office-hours support when required.

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, automation, monitoring, or Site Reliability Engineering.

• At least 2 years of scripting experience using Ansible, Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.

• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions.

• Familiarity with Windows, Linux/Unix, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), databases, and middleware.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• SRE certification or an equivalent certification is an advantage.
