Eames Consulting Hiring! Full Time Senior Data Scientist (Applied AI) in - Ricebowl

We're looking for two experienced data scientists to join a growing applied AI function at a leading financial institution in Singapore. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants to build things that ship - not just prototype them - and who's as comfortable in front of business stakeholders as they are in a notebook.

What you'll do

• Design, build and deploy applied AI and machine learning products - spanning traditional ML, broader data science methods, and generative AI - aimed at solving concrete problems for business teams
• Sit down directly with business users to understand their pain points, sharpen the problem statement, and identify where a data or AI solution actually moves the needle
• Translate between technical and business language fluently in both directions - explaining model behaviour to non-technical stakeholders, and translating vague business asks into a workable technical brief
• Own your work from early experimentation through to production deployment, coordinating with engineering and product colleagues along the way
• Contribute beyond your immediate build - through internal knowledge-sharing, upskilling sessions, and representing the team's work to stakeholders outside the function
• Explore agentic AI approaches where they add genuine value to existing or new products, rather than as a box-ticking exercise

What you'll bring

• Around 10 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a closely related applied AI discipline, ideally in financial services or another complex, regulated environment
• A track record of shipping models and products into production - this is not a research or prototype-only role
• Solid grounding in generative AI, with agentic AI or multi-agent framework experience a strong plus
• End-to-end comfort across the data science stack: data wrangling, modelling, evaluation, and communicating results
• A business-outcomes mindset - you can speak as confidently about the impact of your work as you can about the tooling behind it
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with genuine ease engaging senior business users directly
