About the Role
The Client Coverage professional will be the primary bridge between Firmus Capital and our investment partners. You will be responsible for expanding our investor network, leading capital-raising initiatives for new funds and co-investment vehicles, and ensuring our existing investors receive institutional-grade service and reporting. This role reports to the Head of Client Coverage/CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Raising & Fund Marketing: Identify and engage potential investors (Institutional, Family Offices, and HNWIs) to raise capital for Firmus’ discretionary funds, separate accounts, and co-investment opportunities. (Candidates with Indonesia / North Asia will have added advantage.)
- Relationship Management: Act as the dedicated point of contact for existing investors, fostering long-term partnerships through proactive communication and a deep understanding of their investment mandates.
- Product Development: Work closely with the Investment and Asset Management teams to structure new investment vehicles that align with current market trends and investor appetite.
- Investor Reporting & Communications: Coordinate the preparation of high-quality marketing materials (IMs, pitch decks), quarterly investor reports, and AGM presentations.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback to the leadership team on investor sentiment, regulatory changes (MAS/ASIC), and evolving capital requirements.
- Event Management: Organize investor briefings, site visits to portfolio assets in Singapore and Australia, and participation in industry conferences.
Requirements
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Client Coverage, Investor Relations, or Private Equity Sales within the Real Estate or Alternatives sector.
- Network: An established network of institutional investors, private banks, or multi-family offices in Asia-Pacific.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate investment structures (funds, co-investments, EAM setups) and the regulatory environment (MAS Capital Markets Services license).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investment strategies into compelling narratives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. CFA or CAIA designation is an advantage.
- Attributes: A self-starter with a "boutique" mindset, highly entrepreneurial, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
