About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and driven LNG Trader to join our client's expanding energy trading desk in Singapore. In this role, you will leverage your market expertise to optimize a physical/financial LNG portfolio, manage risk, and drive proprietary trading strategies across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute physical/financial and LNG trading strategies to maximize portfolio profitability.
• Identify and exploit arbitrage opportunities, optimize shipping logistics, and manage prompt/forward structures.
• Monitor global supply-demand fundamentals, macro trends, and regulatory changes to generate actionable trading insights.
• Actively manage price, credit, and operational risks inherent to LNG trading and shipping operations.
• Maintain and expand strong relationships with regional counterparties, state-owned enterprises, majors, and utilities.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience within the energy trading industry, with proven specialization in LNG.
• A solid track record working within a reputable commodity trading house or the dedicated trading arm of an oil and gas major.
• Proven experience successfully trading across the APAC region is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of LNG pricing mechanisms (JKM, Henry Hub, Brent links), freight economics, and structural risk management.
