Role Description The F&B Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for generating F&B revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities. Daily tasks include preparing proposals, conducting sales calls and site inspections, coordinating with the F&B and Events teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The role involves monitoring market trends and competitor activities, supporting promotional campaigns, and collaborating with Marketing to create attractive F&B packages. The F&B Sales Executive also handles client inquiries, follows up on leads, and provides professional support throughout the sales cycle to achieve individual and departmental targets.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling focused on F&B and hospitality services.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and promoting F&B events, banquets, and special dining experiences.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and manage pipelines using CRM or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present proposals and conduct professional client meetings.
- Prior experience in hotel F&B sales, catering sales, or hospitality sales is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of the Greater Kuala Lumpur market and current F&B trends is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in Malaysia are an asset.
- Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, including flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or events.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
