Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Clerk to join MYND Furniture. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and update the accounts receivable ledger.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system (e.g., QNE).
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
- Administrative Support
- Prepare basic financial reports as directed by the finance team.
- Handle inquiries from suppliers or customers regarding financial transactions.
- Compliance and Accuracy
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist in preparing documents for audits or financial reviews.
Requirements
- Education: SPM or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role is an advantage but not required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QNE) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
