Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently operate forklifts for loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, and storing materials, finished goods, and packaging within the warehouse and production areas while complying with company safety, quality, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.
• Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and other items from trucks and containers.
• Transport materials between warehouse, production, and storage locations.
• Stack and store goods accurately to maximize storage space and ensure easy retrieval.
• Verify quantities and conditions of incoming and outgoing goods before movement.
• Assist in receiving, issuing, and dispatching materials according to work instructions.
• Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Keep forklifts clean and in good operating condition.
• Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or other inventory control practices where applicable.
• Support stock counting, inventory verification, and warehouse housekeeping activities.
• Ensure work areas, aisles, and storage locations remain clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental, Food Safety, Quality, GMP, and company policies.
• Report accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, damaged goods, or equipment immediately to the supervisor.
• Assist with other warehouse or logistics duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Authority

• Operate authorized forklifts within designated work areas.
• Stop work if unsafe conditions are identified.
• Report damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Zero forklift-related accidents caused by unsafe operation.
• Timely completion of loading and unloading activities.
• Accurate material movement and documentation.
• No unnecessary product damage during handling.
• Daily forklift inspection completed.
• Compliance with safety and warehouse procedures.
• Good housekeeping and 5S compliance.

Pay: From RM1,900.00 per month
