We Are Hiring: Join the KAF Private Wealth Pilot Team!


We are pleased to announce the strategic launch of KAF Private Wealth (a division of KAF Investment Bank - KIFB). As we transition toward an agile, direct-to-client, advisory-led wealth management model, we are seeking entrepreneurial, high-caliber wealth professionals to join our newly established pilot team targeting High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) and corporate client segments.

1. Private Wealth Head (PWH)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Role Purpose

You will oversee the strategic establishment and expansion of the division, taking charge of local business strategy, talent acquisition, regional performance management, and driving the collective growth of our advisory footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing pilot team of experienced Private Wealth Relationship Managers
  • Formulate local business plans, drive team operational objectives, and monitor rigorous sales and compliance parameters.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget while maintaining optimal departmental cost efficiency
  • Secure strategic institutional relationships to unlock valuable sales pipeline opportunities for the wealth advisory team.
  • Drive the division toward meeting collective asset growth objectives and long-term client retention metrics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in wealth management, with at least 5 years demonstrated in a team leadership, premier banking, or regional management role.
  • Active Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) registration paired with professional CFP or IFP credentials.
  • Holding a Capital Markets Services Representative's Licence (CMSRL) for Investment Advice (or relevant licensing/registration under the Securities Commission Malaysia framework) is highly preferred
  • A proven track record of managing high-performing advisors with active, portable books of business.


2. Private Wealth Relationship Manager (PWRM)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Role Purpose

Direct acquisition and portfolio management of HNWI and corporate client accounts, providing tailored wealth solutions through unit trusts, private discretionary mandates, and bespoke portfolio services

Key Responsibilities

  • Build robust client portfolios via direct relationship acquisition within the affluent, high-net-worth, and corporate segments
  • Analyze complex client risk profiles to construct well-diversified, customized asset-allocation portfolios
  • Execute comprehensive advisory activities while ensuring strict alignment with internal and regulatory compliance standards
  • Perform thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification workflow
  • ows.Support localized marketing campaigns, brand seminars, and exclusive investor briefings to build the division's footprint

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relationship management experience within private banking, premier wealth divisions, or independent asset management firms.
  • Active Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) registration paired with professional CFP or IFP credentials.
  • Holding a Capital Markets Services Representative's Licence (CMSRL) for Investment Advice (or relevant licensing/registration under the Securities Commission Malaysia framework) is highly prefer
  • A proven, active, and highly portable client base with a track record of successfully transitioning client assets.
