Material Resource Assistant is responsible for organizing and maintaining the inventory of materials, equipment and supplies. Ultimately, you will be supporting the clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering of materials, equipment and supplies needed for production.
- Assist in the checking, handling and storage of materials, equipment and supplies.
- Organise the inventory of materials, equipment and supplies according to logistics policies for safety, scheduling, cost and quality.
- Record all transactions and update the inventory list of materials at the store.
- Ensure materials received and transferred are according to delivery order specifications.
- Verify that all materials are packed, bundled and strapped down well before transfer.
- Ensure rejected materials are stored separately while pending recycle or disposal.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.
Job Requirements
- SPM or other equivalent fields.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in construction or related field.
- Knowledge of site safety procedures.
- Attention to detail.
- Good in both written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel and PowerPoint).
