Job Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
• Develop new product ideas and improve existing products based on market demand, sales data, and customer feedback
• Manage product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timelines are met
• Liaise with suppliers from China regarding product sourcing, quotations, specifications, sample development, production progress, and delivery schedules
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and product customization with suppliers
• Coordinate with internal teams including Creative, Operations, Inventory, Sales, and QA/QC to ensure smooth product development and launch
• Monitor product quality, packaging, and product specifications to ensure standards are met
• Analyze product performance including sales trends, customer feedback, defect rates, and return issues
• Recommend product improvements or new opportunities to enhance sales and profitability
• Support promotional planning and product launch activities

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in product development, sourcing, merchandising, or related field
• Ability to speak, read, and write an additional language for effective communication with suppliers from China is required
• Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and forecasting
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing industry is preferred
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team

• Forecast accuracy and stock planning efficiency

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
