Why Join Us:

At BIT, we tackle complex problems as a team. We encourage openness and promote transparency, respect, and inclusivity. Every team member is valued and has a voice that can be heard. We are always in search of intellectually curious and entrepreneurial individuals who are keen on making an impact in the crypto ecosystem and in building a better product for the next one billion users.

About the Role:

We are building a U.S. retail stock brokerage from 0 to 1 — both the client-facing app and a self-built trading system. On the app side, the core product architecture is already in place; you will drive product design for modules including market data, investment decision-support, and AI features. On the back-end system side, you will own the 0-to-1 system build-out and product planning at the module level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help users understand the market efficiently and comprehensively: markets page and rankings (movers / turnover / unusual activity), earnings and economic calendars, macro data, etc.
  • Help users dig deep into individual stocks: enriched stock-detail-page data and the company fundamentals (F10) module
  • Help users discover trading opportunities: stock screener, sector and thematic filters, smart watchlist alerts, etc.
  • Reinvent these experiences with AI: AI earnings summaries, price-move attribution, natural-language stock screening — turning professional-grade data into a product everyday investors can actually use
  • External counterparty integrations: connect multiple upstream executing brokers, clearing firms, corporate-action service providers, etc.
  • Trading-chain product design: order management (OMS), order routing, execution reports, and the full order-lifecycle state machine
  • Account and funds rule design: cash / margin buying power, deposit and withdrawal flows, funds clearing and settlement
  • Back-office module product design: end-of-day settlement, reconciliation, accounting / ledger system, corporate-action processing
  • Partner with finance and business teams to improve the efficiency of account and funds management, and drive the necessary product iterations
  • Own event tracking and funnel metrics to provide data input for prioritization decisions
  • Competitive benchmarking: in-depth research across competitor products; produce regular gap analyses to support product decisions

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of fintech product experience, including 2+ years on U.S. equities brokerage products.
  • Deep expertise in either of the following directions is required: client-facing (market data / markets & discovery / stock-level content) or trading back-end (trading / accounts / clearing & settlement) — plus a working knowledge of the other, and the willingness and ability to ramp up on it quickly.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. equities trading, settlement, and clearing; solid grasp of U.S. market data, the three financial statements and valuation metrics, and how corporate actions affect accounts and positions
  • Strong PRD craft: field-level definitions, calculation formulas, state machines, and complete edge-case coverage; fluent written and spoken English
  • Way of working: responsive, self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to deliver high quality within an established framework

Preferred:

  • Built market-data, fundamentals, or market-discovery modules at a leading online brokerage or financial data platform
  • Brokerage back-end system experience; hands-on 0-to-1 experience at the module level
  • Deep daily use of AI tools in your workflow
