Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing building facilities with a focus on electrical, ACMV, and essential systems (including car park systems). Ensure all systems run safely, efficiently, and meet regulatory requirements. Support upgrading projects and supervise technicians.



Key Responsibilities

1. Facilities Management

  • Oversee daily operation of M&E systems (ACMV, electrical, lifts, plumbing, car park systems)
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly
  • Monitor performance and suggest improvements

2. Electrical (Chargeman) Duties

  • Manage electrical systems in compliance with regulations
  • Carry out switching, isolation, and restoration works
  • Ensure safe operation of all electrical equipment
  • Maintain proper records and reports

3. Projects / Asset Enhancement (AEI)

  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors
  • Review drawings and ensure compliance
  • Monitor site work progress and quality
  • Minimise disruption during upgrading works

4. Maintenance & Defects

  • Identify and track building defects
  • Follow up with contractors for rectification
  • Maintain proper reporting

5. Team Management

  • Supervise technicians and plan work schedules
  • Provide guidance and training
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards



Requirements



  • Valid Chargeman Certificate (A4) or (BO)
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3–5 years of facilities management experience (commercial preferred)
  • Good knowledge of ACMV, electrical, and building systems
  • Experience in project coordination is a plus
  • Able to work independently and handle emergencies
