Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Executive (Generalist) to support the full spectrum of HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily HR activities including recruitment, payroll support, employee relations, and HR administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and Malaysian labour regulations.
This role is suitable for individuals who are hands-on, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Support end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management
- Maintain and update employee personal files and HR documentation
- Ensure HR records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready
Payroll & Statutory Support
- Assist in monthly payroll processing, including attendance, claims, overtime, and allowances
- Ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF)
- Verify payroll data accuracy before submission
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in recruitment activities including job posting, CV screening, and interview coordination
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires
- Prepare offer letters, confirmation letters, and employment documentation
Employee Relations
- Support employee engagement activities and internal communications
- Assist in handling employee queries and basic disciplinary documentation
- Maintain confidentiality in all HR matters
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare basic HR reports and updates for management
- Maintain HR system data and ensure proper record updates
- Support audits and compliance checks when required
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative role (HR Generalist exposure preferred)
- Familiar with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements
- Experience in payroll or HR systems (SQL, BrioHR, or similar) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Experience in payroll processing or HR operations support
- Exposure to recruitment and employee relations
- Knowledge of HRIS systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
