Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Office Administrative Assistant role based in Kelang. The Office Administrative Assistant will manage day-to-day office operations, including handling phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, and providing general administrative and clerical support to the team. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing documents, maintaining filing systems and records, scheduling meetings and appointments, and assisting with data entry and basic reporting. The role also involves coordinating office supplies, supporting senior staff with executive administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will help maintain a professional, efficient, and well-organized office environment in support of marine survey and inspection activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance skills, including organizing documents, managing schedules, and supporting daily office operations.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to handle calls, emails, and client interactions clearly and courteously.
- Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance to support senior staff with correspondence, meeting coordination, and basic reporting.
- Solid Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, record maintenance, and document preparation.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and basic data management tools).
- Ability to work accurately, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of written and spoken English; additional language abilities are an advantage.
- Relevant education in administration, business, or a related field; prior experience in maritime, logistics, or inspection services is a plus.
