Position title

Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Solution Development and Delivery
• Assists in system design, coding, and testing of technical solutions. – Understands standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies our methodology effectively on client engagements.
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
• Project Execution
• Understands project and development plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines
• Ensure all designs produced deliver great user experience
• Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans
• Competency with Programming tools such as Sublime Text, Trello, Asana, etc
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree/Master in Computer Science, or a similar relevant field
• A minimum of one (2) year of experience in designing and developing websites and apps
• A good understanding of frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular JS, Vue JS, Ionic etc
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.)
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Experience with building restful JSON web services
• Knowledge of API’s, such as twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.
• Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
