Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 4–5 years' experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, or Business Development.
- Hunter mindset with strong new business development experience.
- Experience in consultative, solution-selling.
- Knowledge of industrial automation products such as sensors, PLCs, power supplies, electronic circuit protection, machine automation, or ELV/DC solutions.
- Application Engineers with sales interest are welcome.
- Independent, self-driven, and willing to travel across Malaysia.
- Stable career history preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development by identifying and opening new accounts across Malaysia.
- Adopt a consultative, solution-selling approach to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Conduct customer visits, field demonstrations, and product presentations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and develop long-term business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Singapore technical/application support team to provide technical solutions to customers.
- Develop and expand the company's market presence in Malaysia through proactive hunting activities.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing.
- Travel across Malaysia to meet customers and support business development activities.
- Work independently with a high level of autonomy and minimal supervision.
- Support the long-term growth of the Malaysia business with the opportunity to build the local team in the future.
