About the Role

MELTKIES is looking for a Full Time Baker to join our team at The Food Merchant @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for preparing and baking our signature cookies while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and daily production requirements.
• Bake cookies according to established recipes and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure consistent product quality, appearance, and freshness.
• Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
• Store ingredients and finished products appropriately.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and report stock shortages.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous baking or kitchen experience is an advantage but not required.
• Training will be provided for candidates who are willing to learn.
• Passionate about baking and producing quality products.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen related tasks.

Salary

RM2,400 per month (Basic salary including overtime)

Working Schedule

Working Days

• Tuesday to Sunday
• Monday: Fixed Off Day

Working Hours

• Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
