Job Description

• Process supplier invoices, debit notes, and credit notes accurately and on time.
• Verify invoices against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), and supporting documents.
• Prepare payment schedules and process payments via bank transfer, cheque, or other payment methods.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers regarding payment matters.
• Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare reports related to accounts payable as required by management.
• Support external and internal audits by providing the necessary documentation.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (if applicable).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Responsible, organized, and maintains confidentiality.
• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
