Job Summary:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, improve overall productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves applying Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and robotics will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Drive continuous improvement projects (PDCA, Why-why analysis).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Support automation and digitalization projects aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Example, R&D, Digitalization & Engineering) to support new product launches and process changes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and disciplinary standards.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned by the company’s management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechatronics or related field).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (minimum requirement).
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and applications(advantageous).
- Familiarity with robotics and automation systems (advantageous).
- Knowledge in SolidWorks/AutoCAD (advantageous).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and smart factory concepts.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
