Job Description

Responsibilities

TG Shared Services is part of TG Group, a Singapore-based company in property development and construction. The Group has since expanded into sectors including leasing, manufacturing, agriculture, cleaning, student hostels, investments, and other ventures. TG Shared Services supports these businesses by driving operational efficiency across the Group.

Employment Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Work Location: KL Eco City/Midvalley (5-min walk to Abdullah Hukum LRT/KTM)
  • Work Arrangement: On-site
  • Salary: RM3,300 – RM4,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
  • Working Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5.30pm
  • Start Date: Immediate

Role Overview

The Account Assistant will support the finance team in ensuring smooth accounts payable operations, accurate bookkeeping, and timely month-end and audit processes. This role contributes directly to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization by maintaining proper records and assisting in compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process approved accounts payable (AP) invoices and petty cash claims in Kissflow and post accounting entries in the ERP system
  • Follow up on unapproved AP invoices with weekly reminders to respective Management Representatives
  • Prepare payments for approved AP invoices and obtain necessary approvals
  • Update payment ledgers and maintain the cashbook accurately
  • Prepare bank reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Assist in month-end closing activities
  • Support annual audits by updating audit schedules
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties such as downloading documents from the IRAS portal

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience working with Business Central or ERP accounting systems
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and banking operations

Skills & Competencies

  • Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

Education

  • Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, or equivalent qualification

Language Requirements

  • Proficiency in English is required for business communication

Tools / Technical Knowledge

  • ERP accounting systems (e.g., Business Central)
  • Kissflow or equivalent accounts payable workflow systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
