- Salary: RM3,300 – RM4,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Role Overview
The Account Assistant will support the finance team in ensuring smooth accounts payable operations, accurate bookkeeping, and timely month-end and audit processes. This role contributes directly to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization by maintaining proper records and assisting in compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process approved accounts payable (AP) invoices and petty cash claims in Kissflow and post accounting entries in the ERP system
- Follow up on unapproved AP invoices with weekly reminders to respective Management Representatives
- Prepare payments for approved AP invoices and obtain necessary approvals
- Update payment ledgers and maintain the cashbook accurately
- Prepare bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Assist in month-end closing activities
- Support annual audits by updating audit schedules
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
- Perform other ad-hoc duties such as downloading documents from the IRAS portal
Requirements
Experience
- Experience working with Business Central or ERP accounting systems
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and banking operations
Skills & Competencies

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Education
- Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, or equivalent qualification
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English is required for business communication
Tools / Technical Knowledge
- ERP accounting systems (e.g., Business Central)
- Kissflow or equivalent accounts payable workflow systems
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
