Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair of CNC machines and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize machine downtime.
- Diagnose machine faults and implement effective corrective actions to support production.
- Develop, review, and improve machine maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety and health standards.
- Support, coach, and guide maintenance technicians to improve technical competency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or a CNC machining environment.
- Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, and Heidenhain.
- Good understanding of electrical systems (AC/DC, Star-Delta, PLC), mechanical systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the CNC machining industry is an added advantage.
