As an Engineer within our Asset Integrity Management team, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of offshore oil and gas asset management projects across the region and wider global business. Working closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute technical expertise to projects focused on asset integrity, reliability, maintenance, inspection, and performance improvement, helping clients maximise the safety, reliability, and lifespan of their offshore assets.
What will you be doing?
- Support the delivery of asset management projects, providing technical input across a range of offshore oil and gas asset integrity, maintenance, and reliability activities.
- Prepare, review, analyse, and interpret technical data, ensuring accuracy and quality in all project deliverables.
- Produce technical reports, calculations, technical notes, and other project documentation for client and internal review.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and asset management records to support project execution and data-driven decision-making.
- Review client documentation, including PIDs, performance standards, maintenance programmes, and inspection records, extracting key information and reporting findings.
- Support the development of asset registers, equipment hierarchies, material masters, and bills of materials.
- Assist in the creation and optimisation of maintenance, inspection, and asset integrity strategies and programmes.
- Review existing maintenance and inspection procedures, schemes of examination, and job routines to support the development of improved asset management solutions.
- Provide project management and research support on assigned projects, helping to ensure delivery to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and project stakeholders, supporting successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Attend client and project meetings, workshops, and technical reviews, providing support to senior team members where required.
- Contribute to proposals, variations, and business development activities as needed.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Share knowledge and best practices across projects, while supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and QHSE requirements, while actively promoting a strong safety culture.
What are we looking for?
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant engineering experience.
- Exposure to asset integrity and asset management principles, processes, and systems is desirable.
- Ability to apply standard engineering codes, guidelines, methods, and techniques to solve technical challenges.
- Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP, Maximo, AMOS, or IFS, would be beneficial.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar database systems is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.

This role is offered on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.
This position will be based at our office in Kuala Lumpur. You must have the right to live and work in Malaysia. You must be willing to travel for work assignments as required.
