Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Reporting and Fixed Assets Management. The position will report to the Finance Manager and be part of the finance team

Accounts Receivable

• Perform full spectrum of AR functions, including posting and matching of collections, reconciliation for incoming bank receipt
• Issue SOA and actively follow up on overdue receivables to ensure timely collections
• Reconcile sales invoice to SAP entries
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on AR related queries and issues
• Check and issue credit note for sales target incentive to retailers & salesman sell-out incentive
• Support in the preparation of monthly intercompany debit note (eg, TSGM)
• Generate AR Overdue report for sales order release and HQ reporting
  
  
  

Fixed Assets

• Process Fixed Assets addition, disposal and write offs according to company policies
• Maintain and update Fixed Asset register
• Run and post monthly Depreciation
• Coordinate and support physical asset verification
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standard
  
  
  

Account Closing

• Prepare accrual entries, including Mall loyalty points and Gross Turnover (GTO) expenses
• Support month end closing activities, including analysis for indirect expenses and HQ reporting package
• Preparation of bank reconciliation
  
  
  

Ad-Hoc

• Participate in stock-take exercise
• Other ad-hoc task as required
  
  
  

Profile

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP
• Good initiative, meticulous and a good team player
  
  
  

Professional Requirements

• Min 2-3 years relevant working experience in accounting environment
