The hiring company is looking for regional Cyber Security Engineer who can independently maintain, monitor, and advance the security posture across Asia offices. Operating with high autonomy as the sole regional security expert, you will manage day-to-day security operations, respond to incidents, and implement advanced tools under the macro-direction of global management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Monitoring & Logging: Review and analyze logs across firewalls, mail gateways, SIEM, and EDR platforms to detect and mitigate suspicious activity, trends, and patterns.
• Independent Incident Response: Act as the primary regional responder for security alerts and help desk tickets, leading local forensic investigations and containment efforts.
• System Administration & Engineering: Configure, maintain, and optimize the Firm's security stack, including Palo Alto firewalls, PAM (Delinea), DLP, and cloud security environments.
• Risk & Vendor Assessments: Conduct thorough risk reviews on regional products/vendors and recommend controls aligned with global information security strategies.
• Project & Audit Execution: Serve as the regional technical lead for global Technology & Innovation projects and directly remediate technical audit findings.

Requirements:

• 6+ Years of Experience: Progressive enterprise information security experience in professional services environment.
• Autonomous & Proven Capability: Demonstrated track record of managing a regional security footprint independently and making critical engineering decisions
• Advanced Infrastructure Technical Stack: Hands-on mastery of Active Directory, Enterprise Firewalls/VPNs, EDR platforms, Web/Email Gateways, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools.
• Cloud Security Proficiency: Solid practical experience configuring and administering security tools within AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Premium Communication & Demeanor: Exceptional oral and written communication skills to author technical documentation and interface confidently with high-level business professionals.
