Description
As an Interior Designer at Foster + Partners, you will contribute to the development of thoughtful, high‑quality interior environments across a wide range of global projects. You’ll work closely with architects, designers and external collaborators to create cohesive, well‑crafted interiors, producing drawings, models, materials palettes and design information that support the delivery of innovative, integrated spaces.
This role is ideal if you want to:
- Develop drawings, models, imagery, materials boards and other design documentation.
- Take ownership of specific areas of design and project development when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants throughout all stages of design.
- Review drawings, mock-ups, finishes and material samples submitted by contractors.
- Grow through continuous learning while contributing actively to studio workflows.
What you will bring to the team:
- A recognised qualification in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Strong ability to formulate, communicate and develop design ideas.
- Confidence integrating interior design requirements with overall architectural intent.
- A proactive mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Revit (essential), plus experience with tools such as Rhino, AutoCAD, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.
- Ability to work across multiple media for design development and documentation.
- Desirable: understanding of FF&E, materiality, interdisciplinary workflows and design-phase progression.
