Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support to the Relationship Management team on Client Due Diligence (CDD) matters for a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, working closely with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders (e.g. Client Lifecycle Management, Compliance, and Risk teams) on client onboarding and ongoing reviews.
Prepare and complete end-to-end CDD documentation for onboarding, periodic reviews, and trigger events, including detailed analyses of client profiles, ownership and control structures, source of wealth, expected account activity, and associated risk considerations, in line with the Bank's AML policies and regulatory standards.
Conduct KYC documentation collection, verification, and quality assurance checks to ensure client records are accurate, complete, and consistent, while resolving any deficiencies or exceptions in a timely manner.
Oversee the KYC/CDD workflow, monitoring case progress, coordinating with Relationship Managers and relevant stakeholders to meet service standards and regulatory deadlines, and providing status updates as required.
Ensure all KYC and CDD activities are carried out in strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong customer service, communication, sales, analytical, numerical, organisational, and planning capabilities.
Good knowledge of key private banking products and services.
Prior experience in preparing CDD/KYC narratives for onboarding and/or periodic reviews within a bank or financial institution is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
