Adecco's Banking & Financial Services team is recruiting for a Credit Control Assistant Manager for a well known client within the professional services industry.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing accounts receivable and collection functions for strategic customer accounts across regional markets. The successful candidate will drive timely payment recovery, manage client escalations, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within a fast-paced and high-volume environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate accounts and ensure outstanding balances are collected within agreed timelines

• Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and reconciliation issues raised by customers

• Serve as the key liaison for clients regarding receivables and credit-related matters

• Work closely with internal departments including Finance Operations, Billing, and Cash Allocation teams across different countries

• Review ageing reports regularly and identify collection risks or overdue trends

• Ensure all collection activities comply with company procedures, governance standards, and audit requirements

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including system and workflow enhancements within SAP

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience within accounts receivable, collections, or credit management, including exposure to team leadership responsibilities

• Experience handling regional or cross-border client portfolios within a complex business structure

• Strong communication, negotiation, and issue-resolution capabilities with the ability to work under pressure

• Prior exposure to shared services operations or multinational environments will be an added advantage

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines preferred

• Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both verbal and written
