- Develop plant-level quality objectives based on company strategy and customer requirements, cascade them to relevant departments, and establish a closed-loop management mechanism: “goal setting – process monitoring – corrective & preventive actions – continuous improvement.”
- Drive significant improvement in FPY (First Pass Yield) and effective control of key quality defects through system operation.
2. End-to-End Product Quality Control
- Closely monitor and manage key cell quality indicators (e.g., capacity, internal resistance, cycle life, wide temperature performance, safety and reliability), ensuring consistency from design input to manufacturing output.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives in production; proficiently apply and promote core quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and MSA to build a data-driven continuous improvement culture.
3. Customer Quality Interface & Satisfaction Improvement
- Act as the primary quality representative of the plant, leading quality audits from global key customers, understanding their focus areas (e.g., full traceability, process control), and organizing internal and external resources for audit readiness and execution.
- Establish and maintain an efficient customer complaint response mechanism, ensuring rapid cross-functional root cause analysis, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and timely reporting to customers with full closure.
4. Team Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Fully responsible for managing, developing, and motivating the quality team (including IQC, PQE/PQC, quality systems, customer complaint handling, etc.).
- Build competency models and tiered training systems to continuously enhance team skills, problem-solving capabilities, and overall quality awareness.
- Act as a quality authority, proactively collaborating with R&D, production, process, supply chain, and sales to drive cross-functional quality improvement initiatives and eliminate quality barriers.
