RESPONSIBILITIES:
Play an important role in supporting the HR Department by assisting in various Human Resource functions and activities.
Payroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, allowances, commissions, incentives, deductions, and bonuses.
- Process final salary, leave encashment, and notice pay for resigned employees.
- Verify attendance, timesheets, shift allowances, and overtime claims.
- Ensure payroll records are complete and accurate.
- Prepare payroll reports for management.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and workforce planning.
- Prepare and update job descriptions and recruitment advertisements.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, agencies, and other channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews (phone/video/face-to-face).
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Participate in interview panels where required.
- Conduct reference checks and background verification when necessary.
- Prepare offer letters and support salary negotiation within approved ranges.
Onboarding & Employer Branding
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation and onboarding activities.
- Support new hires during onboarding to ensure smooth integration.
- Enhance employer branding through recruitment platforms and social media.
Foreign Workers and Hostel Management:
- Monitor the expiry and renewal of foreign workers permit and fomema medical check up arrangement.
- Coordinate with landlord on the renewal of tenancy agreement for all hostel.
- Update Management and HOD for any new rules & regulation related to foreign workers and hostel from time to time.
Learning & Development:
- Coordinate and execute the internal, external and public training as per yearly training plan.
- Responsible to maintaining the training record, training evaluation and make sure the record is up-to-date.
- Performance Management:
- Monitor the Probation Review of new employees and notify respective HODs for Employee Confirmation.
- Prepare Letter of Confirmation, Annual Increment and Bonus letter.Employee Engagement Activities
:
- Executing on any planned event related to the employee initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resource or equivalent qualification 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience in Talent Acquisition, Training, Foreign Workers Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, OSHA and etc
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Well known on Malaysia employment legislation and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS will be an added advantage
- Candidate with manufacturing background will be an added advantage
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
