Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), taxation, administration, SST, e-Invoicing, audit preparation, and foreign currency transactions. This role requires the ability to prepare complete sets of accounts and ensure timely submission to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly SST returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage e-Invoice processes in line with LHDN requirements.
- Oversee audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
- Prepare financial statements and ensure timely submission to SSM.
- Monitor and manage foreign currency transactions and exchange differences.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support administrative tasks related to finance and operations.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge of AR, AP, tax, SST, e-Invoice, and audit processes.
- Familiarity with foreign currency accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Currently we are using SQL it would be good but not a requirement if are familiar with this account
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
