Position Summary

The Factory Operations & Logistics Assistant provides general operational support to our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for deliveries, pickups, purchasing, facility support, equipment assembly, and other operational tasks that help our team remain productive.

No two days are the same. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, mechanically inclined, and willing to help wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive executives to meetings, residence, and other locations.
• Pick up and deliver materials, parts, and finished products throughout Johor and Singapore (when applicable)
• Collect shipments from courier companies including DHL, FedEx, UPS, Pos Malaysia, J&T, and others
• Pick up and purchase office supplies, production materials, maintenance items, and emergency purchases
• Transport documents to banks, government offices, suppliers, and customers
• Receive incoming deliveries and assist with shipping outgoing orders
• Assemble office furniture, shelving, workstations, computers, monitors, and other office equipment
• Assist with facility setup, organization, and general maintenance
• Help move equipment, machinery, and inventory safely
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
• Perform basic building maintenance and simple repairs
• Support production or administrative staff during busy periods
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia
• Valid Malaysian Class D driver's license
• Ideally own a reliable vehicle that can be used for company business during the initial few months (mileage reimbursement will be provided). A company vehicle is planned once operations are established within next few months.
• Comfortable driving throughout Johor and surrounding areas
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble furniture and equipment
• Physically capable of lifting up to approximately 25–30 kg
• Comfortable using smartphone and Google Maps
• Honest, dependable, organized, and punctual
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following is an advantage:

• Logistics or delivery services
• Warehouse operations
• Facilities or building maintenance
• Manufacturing or factory environments
• Handyman or maintenance work
• Inventory control
• Basic electrical or mechanical repairs

Compensation & Benefits

• RM3,000 – RM4,000 monthly salary (based on experience)
• Mileage reimbursement while using personal vehicle for company business
• Company vehicle to be provided after business operations are established
• EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions
