Job Summary
The IT Executive is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and securing the Company's entire IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, production-related IT equipment, cloud services, CCTV systems, access control systems, and business applications. The role ensures reliable IT operations to support manufacturing, administration, and business continuity while providing technical support to all employees.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Plan, implement, monitor, and maintain the Company's IT infrastructure.
- Manage servers (physical and virtual), storage devices, network equipment, and cloud services.
- Maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, internet connectivity, wireless networks, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity planning.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure high system availability and minimal downtime.
- Maintain server room environment, UPS systems, and network racks.
2. Network Administration
- Configure and manage routers, switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and network security.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Maintain internet bandwidth utilization and optimize network performance.
- Implement network redundancy where applicable.
3. Server & Cloud Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and print servers.
- Administer Microsoft 365, cloud storage, email services, and cloud backups.
- Perform server monitoring, patch management, and performance optimization.
4. Cybersecurity
- Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures.
- Maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall, VPN, and security monitoring systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and respond to incidents.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
5. Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Perform scheduled system and database backups.
- Conduct periodic recovery testing.
- Ensure critical business data can be restored promptly.
6. Technical Support
- Provide first and second-level technical support to employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and network issues.
- Support meeting room equipment, projectors, televisions, and video conferencing systems.
- Maintain service records for all IT support requests.
7. Business Systems Support
- Support ERP, HR, Payroll, Attendance, Production, Quality, Inventory, and Accounting systems.
- Coordinate software implementation, upgrades, testing, and user acceptance.
- Liaise with software vendors for troubleshooting and enhancements.
8. Manufacturing IT Support
- Support production computers, industrial PCs, barcode scanners, barcode printers, label printers, and production terminals.
- Maintain machine connectivity where integrated with company networks.
- Ensure production IT systems operate with minimal interruption.
- Support factory digitalization and automation initiatives.
9. CCTV & Access Control Systems
- Install, maintain, and monitor CCTV systems.
- Manage access control, biometric attendance systems, door access systems, and related security devices.
- Coordinate repairs and upgrades with vendors.
10. IT Asset Management
- Maintain a complete inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and network equipment.
- Plan procurement, replacement, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
- Ensure software license compliance.
11. Vendor Management
- Liaise with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Evaluate quotations and recommend suitable IT solutions.
12. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain IT policies, SOPs, user manuals, and system documentation.
- Maintain network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.
- Support external audits, customer audits, and internal compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company IT governance and data protection requirements.
13. IT Projects
- Plan and implement IT infrastructure improvement projects.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide user training for new systems and technologies.
14. Other Duties
- Provide standby or emergency IT support outside normal working hours when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
