Responsibilities

• Responsible for Halal new and renew application

- New application for every 3 months

- Renewal application 6 months before

• Liaise with JAKIM/JAIS regarding Halal matters.
• Review and update HAS (Halal Assurance system) when needed.
• Ensure Halal file keep updated from time to time.
• Arrange IHC (Internal Halal Committee) meeting and update any Halal news.
• Weekly checking raw material Halal validity list and liaise with supplier for the latest Halal cert.
• Verify Halal certificate for sample and new incoming raw materials.
• Ensure everything in factory follow as per Halal requirement and only allow approved Halal raw material and sample to be used in the premise (on-site checking minimum once a month and establish report).
• Organize Halal training as per Annual Training Plan (once a year).
• Responsible for external Halal audit by JAKIM/JAIS.
• Conduct internal Halal audit with IHC members once a year.
• Cover receiving of raw material, packaging material and/ or chemical material when necessary.
• Update current issue on notice board on monthly basis.
• Update Approved Supplier List on monthly basis.
• Responsible on composite sample.
• Actively participate in audits (certification bodies, customer and/ or supplier) and mock recall exercise.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc task assigned by superior.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Halal Industry Management and have Halal Executive Certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Halal field.
• Knowledge and understanding in Halal, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills and personality.
• Able to work as team and dynamic team players.
• Systematic and positive problem-solving approach.
• Fast learner and willing to change.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good in follow-up and update to superior.
• Well verse in English and Bahasa Malaysia for both spoken and written.

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
