Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Delivery & Deployment Management

• Own the end-to-end delivery of Kampung Solar deployments — from funder commitment tracking through to installation sign-off and community feedback.
• Manage ATAP applications for non-domestic (NGO) sites, including power study coordination, TNB meter applications, and data logger procurement and testing.
• Maintain accurate deployment trackers for all active sites; update funder commitment tracking sheets weekly.
• Coordinate with the SCM team (Khalif/Ishvin) on product shipment timelines (RX300, RX600, BattX200) and ensure hardware arrives at the warehouse ahead of deployment windows.
• Liaise with the Technical team on product testing, system training, and field readiness before each deployment trip.

2. Funder & Partner Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Energy Access funders including PEGT (Petronas), Google, and future CSR/NGO partners.
• Prepare and update master proposals for each funder, including product specifications (RX600, BattX200) and deployment plans.
• Communicate proactively on delivery timelines, product upgrades, and any programme changes — ensuring funders are never caught off guard.
• Support Syaeista in onboarding new funders by preparing impact data, programme documentation, and deployment readiness reports.

3. Product & Hardware Coordination

• Track and manage hardware allocation across deployment batches — ensuring the right volumes of Pico Solar units (Sunking 500x, RX600, BattX200) are mapped to the right funders and sites.
• Work with Khalif to plan quarterly hardware orders based on committed and projected deployment pipelines.
• Flag product upgrade transitions (e.g., Sunking to RX600) to funders on time and with accurate technical datasheets.
• Coordinate demo unit testing and field feedback with the Technical team ahead of full deployment.

4. Team & Manpower Management

• Manage the Energy Access field team, including project administrator, drivers, and external field support where applicable.
• Plan field trip schedules for installation and feedback visits; ensure logistics (vehicles, travel budgets, accommodation) are organised ahead of time.
• Support proposals for additional manpower needs — drivers, project administrators — and present to Syaeista for approval.
• Onboard and brief team members on deployment SOPs, community interaction protocols, and product handling standards.

5. Reporting, Documentation & Impact Tracking

• Maintain the Energy Access installation and feedback trip log; update deployment numbers after every trip.
• Compile monthly programme reports for Syaeista covering: sites deployed, funder updates, hardware pipeline status, and community feedback highlights.
• Support 6-month impact feedback collection from deployed communities; consolidate findings into a format suitable for funder reporting.
• Ensure all programme documentation (MOUs, proposals, power study reports, ATAP applications) is filed and version-controlled.

6. Continuous Improvement & Field Insight

• Spend time on the ground — visit deployed sites, speak to community members, and observe field realities to surface problems that don't appear in reports.
• Identify bottlenecks in the deployment pipeline (product lead times, TNB application delays, power study gaps) and escalate with proposed solutions.
• Track post-deployment performance of installed systems and coordinate follow-up where systems are underperforming.
• Recommend product or process upgrades based on field feedback and share insights with the SCM and Technical teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in programme management, project coordination, or field operations — preferably in the renewable energy, NGO, or rural development sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously with strong documentation and tracking discipline.
• Experience managing stakeholder or funder relationships — able to communicate professionally in writing and in person.
• Comfortable working in field conditions: site visits, rural communities, and occasional travel required.
• Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken); ability to communicate with rural community members and corporate funders alike.
• Proficient with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and project tracking tools; able to build and maintain deployment trackers independently.

Preferred

• Background in solar energy, off-grid electrification, or energy access programmes in Malaysia or Southeast Asia.
• Experience working with B40 or Orang Asli communities.
• Familiarity with TNB NEM/ATAP application processes or off-grid system deployment.
• Experience coordinating with supply chain or procurement teams on hardware logistics.
• Exposure to CSR/impact reporting frameworks for corporate funders.

Pay: From RM5,500.00 per month
