Logistics Specialist Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Specialist to support the company’s logistics, and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating shipments, handling import/export documentation, and ensuring smooth operational flow across all supply chain activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement, logistics coordination, customs documentation, and LMW operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics and shipment coordination activities.
- Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with forwarding agents, transporters, customs agents, and suppliers.
- Verify shipping and customs documentation including K1, K2, and CIPL.
- Prepare and verify Commercial Invoice & Packing List (CIPL).
- Coordinate and monitor transfer requests across all VITA entities and supply chain operations.
- Ensure proper inventory movement and shipment tracking.
- Support smooth coordination between warehouse, operations, finance, and procurement teams.
Compliance & Operations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customs regulations, and LMW requirements.
- Assist in maintaining proper import/export and logistics documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Prepare procurement and logistics reports when required by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, electronics, or industrial environment is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) operations, customs clearance, K1/K2 documentation, and import/export procedures.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and logistics coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing international shipments, import/export documentation, and customs procedures.
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems is preferred.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
