Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting records.
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and official receipts when required.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monitoring cash flow.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and liaise with suppliers on payment matters.
  • Assist in payroll-related matters, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB records, where applicable.
  • Assist in SST, e-Invoice, and other statutory reporting matters where required.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and government authorities when necessary.
  • Ensure accounting records are properly updated and maintained in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform general administrative duties and any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant working experience in accounting or bookkeeping will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, SST, and Malaysia e-Invoice will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail, responsible, and willing to learn.
  • Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin will be an advantage.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Subject to company arrangement.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
