1 . Run the day-to-day operations in the production line control plants with regard to:

a) First piece buy-off inspection shall be carried out strictly in accordance with, production work order, engineering sample or customer sample, engineering controlled drawing, and make relevant identification and record.

b) Responsible in controlling & monitoring the production parameter compliance, incoming, online & offline former compliance.

c) Ensure all production line setup by tool / equipment setup verification, SOP setup and verification, material setup and ensure all operators are certified for respective roles.

d) Responsible for maintaining special sampling requirements for company and customers and when required analyse / submit samples.

e) Preparation of FAI report for new tooling before mass production.

f) Preparation of customer reports in accordance with customer requirement.

2. Ensure lab equipment is calibrated and maintained as per described schedule.

a) Provide daily monitoring and maintenance of facility and personnel to ensure compliance to the system of facility.

b) Responsible for maintaining the right lab supplies and QA inventory, and for ordering needed supplies.

3. Responsible to monitor attendance, job arrangement and overtime working of inspectors.

a) Verifying the tasks completed by inspectors including testing conducted and reports prepared.

b) Perform, generate inspection reports and quality control reports during the absenteeism of the inspector.

c) Back-up on the job roles of inspectors if any difficulty faced or shortage of manpower.

4. To ensure the incoming materials are inspected in compliance with work instruction, specification or customer requirements.

a) Inspect incoming raw materials and mechanical parts, mark and complete appropriate documents to ensure conformance with drawing requirements, specifications and internal target set.

b) Summarize the incoming material status of the previous day, report approved and pending approved, returned, and defective returned goods.

c) Verification of marked components and the ability to distinguish between part body marking, date code, and lot code.

5. Responsible for inspection raw material in-coming, assisting in investigating non-conformance and complaint about product.

6. To ensure all the non-conforming materials or parts (incoming, in-process or outgoing) are properly segregated and labelled.

a) Summarize the abnormality of the shift and follow up pending issues.

b) To perform internal & external site sorting when there’s quality issues found.

c) Identify issues / corrective actions on a real-time basis and ensure corrective actions are completed on a timely basis

7. Guide and work with extended team to identify and execute process improvements and 5S actions and Good housekeeping in the lab.

8. Understand terminology used in work instructions.

9. Monitoring on quality output.

10. Issues resolution by manage or escalate issues impacting team and communicate to QE or Quality Manager.

11. Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the company from time to time with on time full closure.

12. Support and answer on the job roles during audit.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
