What The Role Is

You are responsible for mapping out National Service (NS) generation plans to ensure sustainable NS manpower structures, as well as managing the development and deployment of Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) and NSmen within the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

What You Will Be Working On

• Manage the development and deployment of NSFs and NSmen in the RSN, including overseeing the transition of operationally ready date (ORD) NSFs into their roles as NSmen
• Administer applications related to NSF deployment, such as Voluntary Extension of Service, Contract Service, and absorption into Regular service
• Monitor NSmen in holding lists from the point of ORD until their deployment as NSmen, ensuring those who become deployable are assigned to NS roles at the earliest opportunity
• Perform course administration for NSmen and manage the development of those identified for higher Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS) appointments
  
  Challenge(s)
• Handling large volumes of deployment data and ensure accurate and timely updates in e-HR systems
• Maintaining comprehensive deployment records and databases
• Coordinating complex tasks requiring interaction with multiple agencies and units
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
• Meticulous and organised
• Ability to compile and process large volumes of information
• Independent worker
• Good communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with HR Systems Applications and Products (SAP) platform is preferred
