About the Role

The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance operations across four feedmill plants, ensuring equipment reliability, plant safety, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multi-site operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Multi-plant oversight: Coordinate maintenance activities across all four feedmill facilities.
• Preventive maintenance: Develop and implement schedules to minimize downtime.
• Equipment reliability: Ensure smooth operation of grinders, pellet mills, conveyors, boilers, and packaging systems.
• Team leadership: Supervise and train maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Budget management: Prepare and control maintenance budgets, optimizing costs.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Continuous improvement: Drive modernization, energy savings, and process efficiency.
• Emergency response: Lead troubleshooting and rapid recovery during breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance KPIs.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is an advantage.

Additional Requirements

This position requires the ability to travel extensively across multiple plant locations. The Maintenance Manager will be expected to visit and oversee operations at all four feedmill sites on a regular basis. Candidates should be prepared to arrange their own accommodation and transportation when traveling between locations.
