Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with a focus on Cobol and AS400/iSeries environments.
• Experience in DB2 and Aldon.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and back-end design patterns applicable to enterprise systems.
• Exposure to Back-End Web Development or integration of AS400 services with web or API-based applications.
• Experience working in BFSI, insurance, or financial services domains is highly beneficial.
• Ability to analyze complex legacy code, perform impact analysis, and implement robust enhancements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication skills and the ability to document technical designs and solutions clearly.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and adapt to evolving business and technical requirements.
