Job Title : Piping Material Engineer (FPSO Topside Engineering)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Industry: Oil & Gas / FPSO

Experience: 10–12 Years

We are looking for an experienced Piping Material Engineer with strong hands-on experience in FPSO Topside Engineering. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in piping material selection, material specifications, international piping codes, and procurement support for offshore Oil & Gas projects.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering

10–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas, with strong experience in FPSO Topside Engineering

Strong expertise in Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and Valve Material Specifications (VMS)

Hands-on experience with piping bulk materials, valves, flanges, fittings, and specialty items

Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5/B16.47, API 6D, API 600, ASTM, NACE MR0175, DNV, and NORSOK standards

Experience supporting procurement activities, RFQs, technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and supplier coordination

Expertise in material compliance, corrosion mitigation, MTR, PMI, and QA/QC documentation

Ability to work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) teams throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and Valve Material Specifications (VMS)
• Support procurement and vendor evaluation activities
• Review material datasheets, technical proposals, MTRs, PMI plans, and QA/QC documentation
• Ensure compliance with international codes, project specifications, and client requirements
• Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
