Sales Manager – Project (Building Materials)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Our client is a well-established multinational company and a global leader in premium kitchen and bathroom solutions. They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Project to drive project sales and specification activities across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the project sales pipeline across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, architects, interior designers, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
• Drive product specifications and secure project opportunities from the design stage through project completion.
• Support and collaborate with distributors to improve project conversion and execution.
• Identify new business opportunities and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers and industry professionals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of project sales or specification sales experience within the building materials industry.
• Proven network with developers and contractors is essential; relationships with architects, interior designers, and consultants are an added advantage.
• Experience selling products into construction projects such as sanitary ware, bathroom solutions, plumbing products, architectural hardware, building materials, tiles, flooring, lighting, doors, or related products.
• Strong business development, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage due to business communication with contractors and project stakeholders.
